You will not need to run to an outfitter and spend thousands on new gear. Pyles will provide everything you need, with the exception of what is listed below. If you have gear already, you are welcome to use it. You can call Pyles with any questions.

Please note: Pyles Camp is located deep in the wilderness and does not have cell phone reception. We do have a radio phone available in case of emergency, however it is not available for check-in phone calls. Please plan accordingly.

PLEASE CONSIDER PACKING THE FOLLOWING:

• Long Pants

• Shorts

• Shirts (long and short sleeve)

• Hiking Boots/Shoes (do not buy new hiking shoes - higher risk of blisters)

• 2 Water bottles/Camel Pack

• Bandanas/Buffs

• Cloth Mask

• Camping Chair

• Hiking Sticks if desired

• Boot/Shoes for walking around camp

• 3 Pairs of socks

• Bathing Suit/shorts (wading in creeks)

• Toothbrush, Toothpaste

• Towel

• Chapstick

• Sunblock

• Shower Sandals

• A warm jacket and winter hat (it can get cold at night)

• Pillow

• Blankets or a Sleeping Bag (Pyles will provide a cold-weather sleeping back for the back country)

• Camera (Pyles is not responsible for damage)
